Automatic Hardware Flow Control by DTR/DSR

This panel selects the function of DTR/DSR Hardware Flow control. Other signals than RTS or

CTS may be used to control transmit and receive of data. This function of the UART oﬀers more

options.

To get access to this panel conﬁgure Hardware Flow Control in the Standard Port Settings (see 4.2.3),

and leave it enabled in the driver.

Control kind How DTR is intended to operate.

Disabled: No Flow control for receive.

Triggered: Flow control similar to RTS Enable.

RS485 Low Active: This can be used to control a converter RS232RS485, see below. DTR

is low while data is transmitted. Required for 200Ei/200Ei-SI in RS 485 mode.

RS485 High Active: This can be used to control a converter RS232RS485, see below. DTR

is high while data is transmitted.
