Also resistors for Termination and BIAS option are built-in, configured by a block of jumpers J1
to J4 as of table 10 above. A jumper must be closed (both pins connected by a cap) to activate the
mentioned function. These are the same jumpers as on the VScom 200I UPCI card.
Right below the crystal is the compatibility speed header JP1, configure as of table 11 above. When
the configuration has been changed, the driver for Windows has to learn this. In the Advanced
panel click on the “Check” button (4.2.2).
3.6 VScom 800I UPCI
The connector CN1 harbors all signals of the serial ports, see section 8.3. Besides the other
connector the VScom 800I UPCI card features the same functions as the VScom 400I UPCI, now
for eight ports. So it is configured in the same way, via the DIP switches S1 to S8 according to
table 12 above.

Near the small crystal is the compatibility speed header JP2, configure as of table 11 above. When
